Have any of you guys been running one on carpet,if so what are your thoughts?

Heard alot about it (Manufacturer: Spec R).
It sounds great. Less maintenance. Holds it's setting longer than a ball diff. Holds up better in mod racing.
I believe alot of people are making the switch.

When I've searched for places to buy it... they are always out of stock.

I've run mine for about a month. I really like it on carpet and asphalt. The only part that I don't like is that it leaks a little fluid from the out-drives. I am still trying different things to resolve that. I think going with less oil of a thicker viscosity will help.

We were surprised in the dirt how much the heavier diff oil helped. What weight are you trying because I allot of 3k,5k, and 30,000 wt. Let me know if you want to try some of these diff oils

I tried 50 wt shock oil filled full at first. Handled well, but leaked after 4 runs.
I tried 100 wt oil filled full on asphalt and carpet. Again, handled well, but leaked after a few runs.
I tried 2000 wt diff oil on carpet. Only used 5 drops. Handled well, but leaked some. Not as bad. Because of the smaller volume of oil, it felt the lightest of the three options I have tried yet. I want to try 8 drops of 7k or something next.
