Well...
A picture says a thousand words! Better yet, come on out and race with us and experience the grandeur for yourself! 2010 style!

Major thanks to Doug Bryson, Glenn Jones, and Eryk Sharer for putting in the blood, SWEAT, and tears to move the boards, poles, vacuum, and help lay a groove down after the move. This never would have happened without their help!!
It may take a couple days, but the groove won't take long to develop. Eryk was able to get within a few tenths of his fast lap with his sedan and I heard quite a few 8.5's running my 1/12th. I hope it wasn't just me, but it seemed the grip developed quickly considering we only had a sedan and a 1/12th out there for about a pack and a half each.
We also need to give Mike Darnell a great big THANK YOU as well for giving us the latitude to rearrange things in his building. Y'all may not have seen it but he's done a lot of work for us recently to accommodate our ideas, not to mention supplying all kinds of odds and ends supplies to make racing better for us!!. I don't trust just
anyone to drive me around on a forklift 30' in the air while I route coaxial!!
I can't say enough about how AWESOME it is to be racing with NO POLES on the track!!!!
Just think... today is the last time we'll have to worry about getting bumped by off-road racers during our race days!!
RC Scoring Pro...check
Pole-less carpet track...check
Cleaner area of carpet...check
Next to consider on our "to do" list . . .

?Suggestions?
I would also like to suggest we have a brief drivers meeting before we race next weekend to make sure we are all on the same page about everything new and exciting about racing on-road at Mike's. I think there's a lot of potential for improvement going forward if we all agree to some standards.
