OK, Let's play the hypothetical game here: Your Tiger Woods and you know the rest of the story...... Would you cut her a check and be done with it OR would you do what he's doing and postpone your career and go into spin control ...... think about it ?????

Job as a racer:

Yell at marshalls from the driver's stand.
Blame everyone else you're racing with for every accident.
Yell more at marshalls from the driver's stand because you got in an accident.
Report to marshall after your race.
Get yelled at by other racers.
Talk to other racers about how other people caused every accident you were in.
Go home and post all of the above on the Internet.

That sums up a raceday almost anywhere in a nutshell.

Grumpy Hollow is mighty quiet these days.

I haven't raced in a while but I'm looking forward to coming back at least once before the place becomes a toaster oven again in the summer. Here is a summation of all the things I missed while I was gone:

OH NO TOO MANY PEOPLE ON THE STAND, OH NO TOO MANY CARS ON THE TRACK, OH NO TOO MANY KIDS, OH NO TOO MANY CHOPPERS FLYING, OH NO TOO MANY AIRPLANES FLYING, OH NO YOU WALKED ON THE CARPET, OH NO A SCT BUMPED MY BUGGY, OH NO A GUY GIGGLED WHEN HE CRASHED, OH NO SOMEONE IS JUMPING A JUMP TOO FAR, OH NO THE RACE DAYS ARE SO LONG, OH NO THE RACES ARE TOO CLOSE TOGETHER, OH NO LETS DOCK PEOPLE LAPS FOR NOT MARSHALLING, OH NO YOU CANT DO THE QUAD YOU HAVE TO DOUBLE DOUBLE IT, OH NO THERES A NEW TRACK LAYOUT AND PEOPLE ARE ON IT!!!!

SOooooooooooooooooooo much complaining on this board now, it's insane. Remember the good old days when it was just a few troublemakers?

Racing has been on my mind the last few weeks :) . I just havent made time to actually DO it.

I also have concerns that my old Novak brushless ESC and bonded rotor 13.5 will get blown out of the water by the new turbo boost Tekin, but I guess I have to show up to know for sure.

I heard the AC has been on a few times. Does it actually make it tolerable inside with the temps we've been having? Just curious.

Are any of grumpy hollow going to race 1/8th scale and give up their pro careers in 10th scale?

Here is the problem. We will have drivers show up to run on the track without checking the frequency board inside. Clips will not be returned and it will be a big mess.

We are building a 1/8 scale gas/electric track. Most people that run those cars use 2.4 not 27 or 75.

We sell a radio for $59.99 that will work on almost any car.

I have invested almost $45K on building the 1/8 scale track and I think most racers can afford to purchase a 2.4 radio to be able to run on the outside track. If they can't afford that little expense they might consider getting rid of the 1/8 scale car.

I guess you have to get the 2.4 radio stuff whether you want to or not to race on the outdoor track

plus getting the 2.4ghz stuff is a good way to catch up to 2003.

2wd buggy is a handful when you're out of practice. The last few times I tried to run mine (with an old no turbo ESC) it felt like a rocket compared to my Slash. :)
